Model Carolina 'Pampita' Ardohain chose Punta del Este for her vacation with her children and her boyfriend, Martín Pepa. It's her annual destination, where she combines family time with work. However, an unexpected situation in the exclusive José Ignacio area caused a new scandal with the model at its center. According to Pepe Ochoa, who revealed the information on the TV show LAM, Pampita was setting off fireworks, a practice prohibited in Uruguay by Law 20.246, which restricts the use of pyrotechnics over 110 decibels. The constant noise caused great annoyance in a nearby house where former footballer Sergio 'Kun' Agüero was vacationing with his partner and a group of guests. They were particularly concerned about the impact the fireworks could have on animals and people sensitive to loud noises. According to Ochoa's account, Agüero's girlfriend and a friend urged him to speak to Pampita about it. Ultimately, it is reported that Agüero went personally to ask the model to stop setting off fireworks. However, according to another version, Pampita ignored his request and continued the celebration with her children. As a subsequent gesture to smooth things over, Martín Pepa is said to have gone to Agüero's house with a traditional 'pan dulce' (sweet bread) and a bottle of champagne as an apology.
