Former football star Diego Forlan, a 45-year-old Uruguayan, is preparing for his first professional tennis match. The sport he immersed himself in after retiring from his career in 2018.
Forlan is set to take part in a professional tennis tournament and play his first official match at the tournament. He stated that tennis has always been his favorite sport after football, and now he has decided to try himself at a professional level.
"I have always been interested in tennis and played it for fun, but now I want to test my abilities in a serious competition," Forlan shared.
Despite being far from professional in tennis, Forlan is aiming for a good result in his debut match and hopes that his experience in football will help him on the court.
