Uruguayan media reported that Francisco Tinelli, son of Marcelo Tinelli, was involved in a traffic incident in José Ignacio, Uruguay. According to the police report, the young man chose to accelerate his pickup truck upon noticing the presence of a police checkpoint, performing reckless maneuvers at high speed and managing to evade the police. Finally, Francisco drove his vehicle off the road in the Buenos Aires resort.

After losing sight of him, the agents located the pickup truck on the side of the road, where they found Francisco unharmed. The young man admitted to having drunk at a party and not seeing the police checkpoint. He was subsequently subjected to a breathalyzer test, which revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.27, resulting in the corresponding fine and violations by the San Carlos Traffic Police.

Marcelo Tinelli contacted the Puro Show program to inform that his son was doing well and resting after the incident. Although he avoided confirming details about the alcohol test, it was noted that Francisco had lost control of his pickup truck apparently while getting home.
